4PWD is a privately billling allied health service however we do make exceptions for those with genuine need.   Our clinic at Acacia Ridge is provides a bulk billing service for those in need. 

Please ask when you make your appointment to avoid disappointment

Bulk Billing and
Medicare Rebates

All DVA Clients at all clinics are bulk billed
Medicare Clients at Acacia Ridge can ask to be bulk billed

- Your GP needs to refer you under a diabetes care plan before your appointment
- Medicare allows you to seek advice from an Allied Health practitioner 5 times per calendar year
- the rebate is currently $50.95 as at 1st November 2010
- Medicare has strict rules regarding bulk billing, and we are unable to bulk bill you if you forget your referral

First Visit

The first visit takes up to an hour, and allows us to learn about your health, your lifestyle, and how you care for your diabetes.  This is the foundation appointment where we discuss your goals and plan for future needs.

Follow up visits

Generally of 30 minutes duration

Annual Review

for those who have not attended our clinics within the past year, or who are due for an annual diabetes health check.

House Calls

House calls are offered to those in need
We will come to your home to help you with your diabetes

$150.00
(house calls are charged the same fee for all visits)
